Thrasher Magazine's two-time Skater of the Year, Tyshawn Jones, recently tried to pull off an incredible stunt by ollieing over a Ferrari, aiming for what’s known as an NBD or Never Been Done moment in skateboarding.

Even though the trick was super impressive and went viral on social media, it didn’t actually get the NBD status.
The video of Jones flying over the fancy car blew up online, and skaters everywhere were left in shock. His enormous ollie was a wild mix of skill and creativity.
After he landed smoothly, everyone in the skate community got hyped, wondering if this could finally be the NBD they were looking for.
NBDs in the skate world are a big deal because they mean pulling off something totally groundbreaking that nobody has done before. Doing an NBD puts a skater’s name in the history books—it’s a serious badge of honor.
But even though Jones’ ollie over the Ferrari was really something special, some purists in the skate scene pointed out that similar tricks had been attempted by Xavier Alford. So, while his style and execution were sick, the fact that this kind of trick had been done means it couldn’t snag the coveted NBD title.
5 million dollar Ollie thanks @stevenvictor for trusting me. @ferrari I think I’d be a great ambassador
