One of the world's best collaborations has come to Tiktok. Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk and pop superstar Avril Lavigne have joined forces on her TikTok debut.

The "Sk8er Boi" song by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne was released back in 2002 where she introduced the necktie, pop-punk, and rock era intruding the skateboarding scene.

Lavigne lyrically tells a story told from her viewpoint about her rocker boyfriend and a girl he knew in high school who rejected him because he was a skateboarder and she was a snob.

Things have looked differently that year when the song was on the charts globally invigorating the skateboarding scene community and rock music as a whole.

In a video posted to the pop stars social media account Monday, the 36-year-old is lip-syncing her way through her 2002 hit song.

As the song gets to the chorus, the skate legend wearing a necktie just like Lavigne skates his way in the mini ramp with the popular song.

Hawk may not be a boy anymore but he is the living legendary professional skateboarder in the world.

Hawk dominated the skateboarding competitions back in the 1980s and 90s where he introduced the trick "900" on a vert ramp. He is also the Thrasher magazine's 1990 Skater Of The Year.

The Tiktok video "Sk8er Boi" was timed to coincide with Go Skateboarding Day, an annual celebration of the sport that first began in California in 2004.
