Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk has once again proven his resilience and determination by making a triumphant comeback after recovering from a severe injury. Hawk, widely regarded as one of the greatest skateboarders ever recently landed his first heelflip since breaking his femur in 2022.

The injury occurred while Hawk was attempting a gnarly trick on a vert ramp. He fell hard and had to be rushed to the hospital for surgery.

The injury was severe and required a long rehabilitation period, but Hawk remained positive and focused throughout the recovery process.

After months of hard work and dedication, Hawk finally got back on his skateboard and began practicing again.

The 54-year-old started with simple tricks and gradually progressed to more challenging maneuvers. Finally, he felt confident enough to attempt a heelflip – a trick he had not done since his injury.
