The Berrics' head honchos, Steve Berra and Erik Koston have had enough of all the control and wanted out from Kevin Ma's Hypebeast contemporary culture and lifestyle blog company.
The two professional skateboarders had to do whatever it took to part ways with the Hong Kong-based streetwear culture brand with some spicy blame.
The duo posted. "We've seen companies, rappers, bands, actors all hit a certain level of success and then, under the tyranny of time or stress of combat in an unforgiving world fall apart, lose their voice, forget who they were."
"The first thing we needed to do was gain control of the Berrics again so that we could make the decisions." They said. "Once we could do that we had to challenge ourselves and admit that it could do with a few improvements."
They added. "We figure that if we're going to take the bullets we're at least going to be responsible for the reason why they're being shot. We'll be back very soon."
Despite all the barking from The Berrics, Hypbeast stayed in their lane, took it as a professional and stepped back without a word as a classy move.
