Skateboarders Organized a “Push For Tyre” to Celebrate His Spirit, Life & Love

The Memphis skateboarding community is organizing a "Push For Tyre" to celebrate his spirit, life, and love on February 4th at 3 PM in The National Civil Rights Museum until they reach skating the Court Street Park.

Core skater Joshua Cooper Brayboy posted the flyer on his official Instagram account to inform everyone that it's important to honor their friend and have justice for what happened.

Brayboy posted. "We're organizing a "Push for Tyre"! A group of skateboarders skating together through the streets from one destination to another, until we land at a final location. We are doing this as a peaceful demonstration. Thank you!"

The "Push for Tyre" event is a symbolic skateboarding march where participants will push their boards from one location to another, signifying the continuous push for justice and change. The event will also serve as a memorial for Nichols and all other victims of police brutality.

Skateboarders of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to participate and support for his family. Organizers hope the event will raise awareness about the issue of police brutality and bring the skateboarding community together to demand justice and change.

Skateboarders are also using their platform to share information about police brutality and advocate for reform.

Through the "Push for Tyre" event, skateboarders hope to bring attention to the issue of police brutality and create lasting change in their communities.
