Disorder skateboards' top-seeded professional skateboarder Nyjah Huston has finally landed his first kickflip after his brutal ACL surgery, which he celebrated on his official Instagram post.
The 28-year-old skateboarding Olympian has been MIA due to his severe injury but was able to get back on board little by little. He is trying to celebrate small wins and will hit the streets soon.
Huston posted. "Last night. 4 months and 12 days since surgery. First kicky’s!! Knee is working! It’s taken a crazy amount of work to get to this point and we still got a long ways to go until I’m ripping but god damn! what a feeling."
A skateboarder's first kickflip can be overwhelming if you cannot land it, but once you nail it hard, it will make you awe without any explanation.
Huston felt the same feeling when he laded it and knows in his heart and mind that street skating will be back in his life again.
