Retired pro skater turned real estate pundit Mikey Taylor has stated on his latest Commune Capital video that "99% of professional skateboarders don’t make enough money to retire just off skateboarding. We know most of you watching aren’t professional skateboarders, but these topics apply to all athletes and most business professionals. People change careers multiple times during their lifetime."
What Mikey Taylor means is that financial literacy is about knowing how to manage your hard-earned money. This means learning how to pay your bills on time, how to borrow and save money responsibly, and how and why to invest and plan for retirement for longevity.
He also explained how you should be able to inspire the people you love and around you so in the long run everyone in your circle will most definitely be financially successful and will not be always asking for help which Taylor also reiterated that helping is important but at the same time know how to a have a discipline and have a limit.
