According to Lil Wayne's skate filmer Phil Lopez, the surprise pro board celebration is to thank his boss before the year ends as an exalt of appreciation since he has been good to them.

"What a way to end this crazy year," Lopez said. "I want to start by thanking Will Kromer with the direction of this graphic design."

Lopez added. "And I also want to give a special thanks to Torey Pudwill, Thank You Skate Co. and with the help of a few close friends we were able to make this dream come true."

"Shout out everyone who's been a supporter since day one. Lil Wayne's first signature board. Available for friends & family," he said.

During the pro-surprise celebration, Thank You Skate Co. founder Pudwill congratulated the Young Money Entertainment CEO but never acknowledged that Lil Wayne is a professional skateboarder who rides for his company in any social media posts.

Lil Wayne is a professional skateboarder for his close circle only as it's a gift from his employees. Sorry everyone, but the first Lil Wayne signature board is not for sale.
