Skate spots come and go but not the world-famous Leap of Faith.

Skateboarding legend Jamie Thomas famously tried to land his massive mellon grab ollie in Leap of Faith in 1997 but snapped his board after landing.

After trying his best to have his trick on a magazine cover, another local shredder named Richard King also ollied it in 1998. However, he broke his leg and didn't look back to trying it again.

In a new YouTube video, Jenkem Magazine revisited the Leap of Faith with the title "The Most Famous Trick Never Landed" and interviewed the legends to delve into the whole story.

The Jenkem crew met up with King to look at the spot, and he claimed that it's still doable to this day, even if there's a wall.

Leap of Faith could be sketchier these days, as the skater should clear the stair gap first before achieving the handrail and rolling away.

Thomas mentioned that fellow pro skater Josh Kasper asked for his permission out of respect but was never done due to its scary look.

Aaron "Jaws" Homoki also respected Thomas even though he could nail the landing after achieving the Lyon 25 skate spot.

Since the new generation of skaters are getting gnarlier and gnarlier, some hungry kid may try to ollie the Leap of Faith soon.
