Skateboarding icon, entrepreneur, and designer Erik Ellington has partnered up with Chinese sportswear giant Li-Ning for the launch of their first-ever skate line.
The 43-year-old professional skateboarder posted on his official Instagram account with a possibility of forming a skate team on the next slide of his post.
"I’m proud to announce my partnership with Li-Ning to launch their first ever skate line." Ellington wrote. "I couldn’t be more excited to work with a brand that values skateboarding and shares my vision."
"Thank you to the whole crew who made this possible, love you guys Lukas, Davey, Zach, Tinga, Kay, the whole team at Li-Ning, Christian, Bradley, J-Hon, Charlie, Jake, Natalie, Naquan...and a special thank you to Kit and Leehawk for that first call! We have a lot on the way!"
The potential skateboarding team of the new Li-Ning skate shoes looked packed and the video below shows the creative side of the resilient squad.
There's no official release date yet when the skateboarding shoes will be out in the market but we will definitely keep you guys posted.
