Blind, Enjoi, and Darkstar skateboarding distributor Dwindle allegedly fired Madness skateboards founder Bill Weiss after nearly twenty years of working in the company as one of the best assets.
As the brand manager and team manager of Blind Skateboards, making them win Thrasher Magazine's King Of The Road, Weiss did whatever it took to get the job done for the love of skateboarding.
Weiss helped rebuild Blind skateboards when it sank from the guard change after Steve Rocco and Rodney Mullen called it quits by selling it to corporate investors.
Despite all the hard work and perseverance of making the company alive to core skateboarders, corporate investors still discharged Weiss. They took everything he loved for almost two decades of his life.
The former vert pro skater started Madness skateboards with all his sweat, blood, and tears, but the corporation took it from him with a single phone call.
Madness professional skateboarders are now quiting after hearing the terrible news.
Clay Kreiner posted. "After 20 strong years at Dwindle Distribution, Bill Weiss was fired via phone call. Without Bill there is no Madness. I’m going with him. Goodbye Madnes skateboards."
Fellow pro skaters Alex Perelson, Trey Wood, Jeff Rasp and others took part of the movement to let everyone know that their loyalty and respect for Wiess will always previal.
