A campaign on Kickstarter. The Ali Boulala Documentary doesn't need further proof that Boulala became the legendary anomalous skateboarder in the late 1990s together with the Pissdrunks crew. The new film "The Scars of Ali Boulala" which sets to air for the first has finally here and it's ongoing at the Tribeca film festival.

The first clip released on November 26, 2020, focuses on Boulala's emotional and physical battles reflecting the tragic motorcycle accident with his teammate Shane Cross. Unfortunately, both of them were heavily intoxicated when Boulala drove into a wall while Cross was riding on the back. Boulala ended up in a coma, and Cross was killed immediately.

Today Ali Boulala has stopped his long period of substance abuse for almost 8 years now and has been attending a twelve-step program. As he carries all the scars on his body and in his soul, it still reminds him daily of the past and the accident that still haunts him.
