Red Bull skateboarding contest second placer Taylor Silverman called out the organizers six months ago after losing to a transgender skater in an event.

Although she faced backlash, Silverman still went out to the public to defend what she believed about women's rights.

The skater girl received hateful messages after her post on her Instagram account that she was a sore loser and a transphobic. But that didn't stop her, as she made headlines with an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan on the Piers Morgan Uncensored show.

Silverman posted. "It's been six months since I put my trust in God 100% and spoke up for myself. My life drastically changed overnight and I want to say thank you to everyone for all of the support."

"I hope my story encourages more girls and women to come forward and know they will be supported," She said.
